FAQ
I have in-person availability in Manhattan and virtual availability. Virtual sessions are conducted on HIPAA compliant platforms.
I am an out of network (OON) provider and do not accept insurance as direct
payment for treatment. If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be
reimbursed by your insurance company for a portion of the cost of therapy.
I can provide superbills for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement. If
you don’t want the administrative hassle of submitting your own superbills, I
partner with Thrizer to submit your superbills for you.
Fees range from $100 - $275 depending on the service. I am committed to making mental health services accessible and affordable. To support this goal, I offer a limited number of reduced fee slots for clients who cannot afford my full session fee. Please contact me directly to inquire.

New York State licensed mental health counselor, license number 014888
New Jersey licensed professional counselor, license number 37PC01256700

Consultations are 20 minutes on Zoom. I will ask you to share what you are looking to work on and what brings you to the consultation. I will share information about my approach and answer any questions that you have about working with me.
This gives you the opportunity to see me, meet me, and interact with me to assess if I am a good fit for your needs. The consultation also gives me an opportunity to ensure that I would be a good match.
If I determine that I am not the best match to support you with what you are struggling with, I will let you know and provide referrals to you for other providers who may be a better fit.

Developing an understanding of ourselves through verbal processing and analysis is important. However, this can only get us so far. We could spend many years talking and analyzing ourselves and still feel overwhelmed, stuck, or reactive.
Cognitive focus does not always help us to feel seen/heard/understood or to experience self-compassion. The body is part of how we store, process, and resolve emotional experiences. Exploring with sensation, imagery, and body-based awareness is a gentle way to help regulate the nervous system, build relationship with yourself, and increase the capacity to stay present.
This type of work allows you to experience multiple things at the same time (i.e., safety and discomfort at the same time) and expand your ability to tolerate distress.
I provide exercises, handouts, meditations, and prompts for reflections and practice in between sessions depending on a client’s needs and individualized treatment. This can help with creating a sense of stability and continuity in between sessions. Some folks feel supported with structured tasks to do in between sessions and other folks do not want homework and feel more supported showing up weekly to sessions. We can talk about this together and adjust based on what feels right.
